We are developing a programme with the NHS that will enable the community to run their own sessions at the gym & we would like to hear from anyone who wishes to run their own group.  The programme can offer free training in First Aid, Food Hygiene and Boxing Coaching and will provide all with a DBS certificate. This programme is designed to stretch the diversity of classes that 5 Ways can offer and it’s a great opportunity to develop new skills.

Shirley Ashworth from BPRCVS has been instrumental in the success of our  “Get Buzzin with Boxing,” project.  This great organisation has also  provided various free training programmes for our staff, from “Mental Health Awareness,” to “Effective Bid Writing.”

Have been a great support to 5 Ways, they have kindly provided funding for Gloves & have given us bread that keeps our young Boxers happy after their workouts.

We began working with Andrea Pilling from Burnley Leisure on their “Girls Up & Active” Programme.  The sessions became popular quickly and 5Ways responded by offering two classes which have now become self-sustainable after the funding has ended.
